Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Nuss family! We pray no matter what phase of life you are in you are able to look back and see God's grace, mercy and peace in all aspects of your life!
This past year brought a lot of growth and joy for our family! Eric completed his first year of seminary and was selected to study abroad. We prepared for our first international move and have settled into our new home. This past year has taught us to really let go and trust God. We always dreamed of moving to Germany, but that dream was always within the confinement of the military life. We never would have imagined we would be here because of seminary on our own! It has definitely been a humbling experience going through the buracercy of becoming a temporary resident of another country, the learning curve for Susan and the boys with the language barrier, and all of us adapting to a different culture. We have grown in ways we never would have been able to before. We pray this new year will continue to keep our hearts humbled and our minds open to God's guidance, especially as Eric continues his studies to become a Pastor.
As a family we have always tried to find adventure wherever we are, and we have continued that mindset in Germany! We have been able to add so many beautiful countries to our traveled list in such a short time! Turkey, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Netherlands, France and Luxembourg! We have explored so many beautiful castles, historic towns whose ages are hard to fathom being from the 1300s or even older, and landscapes that put you into awe! We pray this adventure continues to mold us into people who can continue to sing God's praises!
As we look ahead to 2024, we are excited to see what adventures await! Perhaps the biggest adventure is that we will be welcoming baby #4 into our family in June!!! We will be exploring more of Europe before Eric completes his studies here in July. And we hope to get settled back to Fort Wayne smoothly before the next school year begins for Eric!
We are so greatful for this life God has gifted us and we pray each day we are living it to his glory!!
